ways to get involved

Ministry at Grape Grove is shaped by the rhythms of our rural community—unhurried, grounded, and deeply relational. Whether it's gathering for worship, sharing a meal, or showing up for a neighbor in need, we believe ministry happens in everyday moments, not just on a stage or in a program. That’s why our children's, student, men's, women's, and missions ministries are designed to meet people where they are and grow something real—faith that lasts, relationships that matter, and service that makes a difference.

We’re not interested in just filling calendars—we’re inviting people to live differently. Each ministry offers a chance to slow down, show up, and be part of something rooted in the way of Jesus. Whether you're a parent, a teenager, a seasoned believer, or someone just starting to ask questions, there’s space for you to grow, serve, and belong.

student ministry

At Grape Grove, students in grades 7–12 are an important part of our church family. They join the whole congregation for worship at 11 AM each Sunday, growing alongside adults in faith and fellowship.

On Sunday nights from 6:30–8:00 PM, our Senior High “D-Group” (Discipleship Group) offers a space for deeper conversation, spiritual growth, and strong friendships rooted in Christ. (Check for meeting times during summer)

We also have a full lineup of fun and meaningful activities planned for the summer—because faith should be joyful, too.

women’s & men’s ministry

The women at Grape Grove meet at various locations around eastern Greene County for a monthly Saturday morning coffee.

The men meet for Men’s Breakfast on the first Saturday of every month at 8:00AM.

There are also opportunities for both groups to serve in other ways. Be on the lookout for the occasional project to serve the community or congregation.

outreach + missions

Our church has a rich tradition of supporting various local and international ministries. We take the call to support missionaries seriously.

We’ve been honored to partner with faithful men and women who carry the good news of Jesus to places near and far. Through prayer, financial support, and personal connection, we aim to be a consistent source of encouragement as they serve on the front lines of ministry.

children’s ministry

Kids ARE the church at Grape Grove. We believe that children play an important role in God's kingdom, both now and in the future. This is not childcare. Our team of children's ministry leaders works hard to disciple kids in the ways of Jesus.

Bring your kids with you during the first couple of songs during our main service. Our kid’s program meets just after 11 AM, with dismissal occurring from the main service during a short break.
